No temp sadly

Sadness, I guess it will run toasty

Why would it have the lead if there’s no sensor? Isn’t it easier to leave the pin empty?

What bearings are needed to put regular urethane wheels on 10mm axles?

6900-2RS

Ah thanks, do you know anything about 10mm bearing spacers? size even?

They probably bought pre-crimped-and-assembled pigtails, which already had that wire populated, and it’s more work to remove it.

Same length as normal 8mm spacers, just 10mm ID rather than 8.

what type of foam type would be best under grip tape?

None would be great but if you must thin closed cell neoprene.

I have sensored motors(63100 190kv Flipsky Battle Hardened) that will not detect hall sensors on brand new Trampa MK6 VESCs. Firmware updated, both new VESCs do not detect the hall sensors.

These motors previously worked with hall sensors on a flipsky 6.6 mini no issues. ALSO, one of these motors detected once when manually forcing it to detect hall sensors at 40A. I tried other amperages all the way up to 80A with no further success. It only happened once and never again after about 10 reattempts. Same motor setup as before just new VESCs that won’t detect hall sensors.

Sensorless does run fine, however for now I’m hoping to be sensored if possible.

I thought stormcore rgb switch told you approximately battery % with the changing of colors?
Mine was green all the way down to 31.5v. Any special things i need to do to make that work?

When I push the throttle to the max I hear this high pitched sound that sounds like my dremel cutting in to metal. Is this normal? It doesn’t happen when I push the throttle slightly

Where are those GD from? Are you sure your backlash is properly set? Have u greased the gears?

Yes. I set it up a few week ago and it worked fine. Then I was working on my electronics enclosure. I haven’t opened the drive or touched anything. It’s a BN AT GD. only thing that has happened since then is I unplugged my esc and re-setup with vesc-tool. Also one of the tires is flat. I guess I got a leaky tire from MBS. I put grease, loctited the screws and put retaining compound on the motor key.

I would take it to the BN thread on those AT drives. Kevin may have some insight… I’m not familiar enough w them to trouble shoot.

That sounds like the motors are reaching full speed. It’s normal, brushless motors have a hard upper speed limit for a given voltage.
Gear drives are generally louder than belt or DD, so they amplify it more, but that effect is common across all BLDC powertrains.

You probably won’t hear that while you’re actually riding, because the added load will keep you just below that max speed.

I don’t know what I’d do without you guys. Thank you! Also how do I save settings in vesc tool? I want to set my duty cycle limit start at 80% and max duty cycle at 85%. I clicked enter in the field and then clicked write app configuration. When I close and reopen my vesc tool and read app configuration it doesn’t show these new numbers I entered so how do I confirm that I changed the setting?

You might try the “write motor configuration” button instead of the “write app configuration” button, since this is under the “motor settings” tab, not the “app settings” tab.

I always hit both motor and app write because i feel Vedder made it Not for us mere mortals.

Alright, so I’m scared shitless of my board right now.

I’m running flipsky 63100’s on HFI , two turnigy 12ah 6s lipos in series, and a vanpro mini remote.

My motors kept randomly cutting out while I was riding. At one point, it started accelerating with no input to do so, and the board threw me. Phase wires are all connected well.

I’m going to try a new remote first. Any suggestions on a trigger remote that won’t drop signal? The receiver is in a 3d printed enclosure, so I doubt that the signal is being blocked.

If that doesn’t work, then I am going to resolder my phase wire connections.

Then HFI settings.

I’m kind of baffled right now.

If its not that, I’m going to resol
