Anyone had experiences with hobbyking? How long do they take to send an order?

i sometime buy from them, but i can’t really say much about their shipping since i live like 10mins away from their international warehouse in Hong Kong :joy:

Their shipping hasn’t been bad for me in the USA but I haven’t ordered from them for a few years.

Well, seems like an item in the order went out of stock after i paid. Spoke to support to cancel that item and hopefully it ships today

Quite good for my recent order.

Ordered on 13th.
Shipped on the 15th
arrived on the 23rd.

Used the cheapest shipping option that was not tracked.

Hm… what does “available on backorder” mean from aps? I can clearly see what is in stock and what is out of stock, but this? Do they just dropship straight off the factory whe orders come through? If so, am i not just better off ordering from the source? I think it’s saite motors.

You can “preorder” as it’s not in stock. Once it’s in stock you get your item.

Means probably wait to buy it

Ah, the classic money trap. “Will it be one week? Will it be july? Put £250 here and find out!”

There are very very few vendors, even trusted ones, I will preorder from. And definitely only if I ask, not if they ask.

I learned my lesson, and some vendors learnt it too… “in stock” on the site but the shipment just left the factory is the new usual. If they’re all fucked it’s still the customer who waits another 3 months

Yep. Can you take your money and put it elsewhere without going through ridiculous lengths with customer support? Of course not

Is there a good post that summarizes necessary changes in Vesc tool default values that should be changed [other than battery, type, motor type, tooth count (motor and wheel gears), wheel diameter, battery and motor current max and regen values] for setup?

I ran the motor detection (both wizard and manual), and synced the remote ppm values on max speed level (3 vibrations) for a Hoyt puck I installed on someone’s kaly and am getting brakes cutting out on steep downhill after maybe 75% braking and can’t seem to figure out why.

Make some screenshots of your settings and upload them.

Go to terminal and click or write “print faults”. If you get results from that you have some issues
