I agree with that, For me, the only thing that sticks to silicone is more silicone.
Yup. And only sometimes/some types of silicone.
Anyone?
There’s no relevant info on the page, so
Since they’re not IP rated, I would assume they are not waterproof, or even really water resistant.
They won’t immediately explode if they get wet, but I would not expect them to last long under even slightly wet conditions.
Thanks
its “QUALA-T”, so u know…
how far do i have to push bergmesister pulleys into the hub, they’ve stopped here but there’s still a fairly large gap - do i have to force it down?
also, do i just use regular nuts on this, maybe with a washer just for extra security? seems super fickin awkward to put a screw down there
Keep in mind the tire hangs over the edge of the hub, so the gap isn’t really obvious when the tire is on. You put the nut side down there in the hole. That’s how it is on mine anyway. Mine had like rubber washers and small nuts
ok, so i guess this gap is about normal then
ill give it a go. thank you
btw, are you using the official berg hubs and berg pulleys?
Yah I never noticed it because the tires were already on the wheels when I bought them
Yeah both
ok, cool…oh and ive got 17 and 18t motor pully’s - if i dont want to go over 30mph which ones do you reckon i should use?
Lol what size are your berg pulleys?
1, you can use the calculator to easily get those numbers, 2, I have 15t on mine, to 55t on the berg pulley and could do 39 sooooooo
I’ll have to count to the teeth lol, got these used and never asked…will count em tomorrow.
Some kind of locking nut is preferred, such as a nyloc.
Hub Motor
Rubber wheel
Maximum load current 15A
What are the actual voltages the VX1 triggers at?
Going to build a 4wd board next but use a loop key in it. My battery has front and rear pairs of wires already soldered on.
My noob questions are: do I take the pos wires from both sides merge them and solder them to where I mount the loop key then take new wires from the other terminal of the loop key mounting send them back to front/rear? Part of my brain says this is wrong and there’s an easier option that’s safe but I need an authority on the matter to set me straight.
Depends what the inside of the battery is like, it might be better to have 2 loop keys if you have a split reciever
On decks like the jet spud, is there any way to close this gap between the truck/deck? Or am I just fine with this? Im not sure how safe 3d printed risers would be; I’ve seen mixed results with reliability
