It does not matter AT ALL. just plug them in and run the setup in Unity UI. It’ll work no matter what since in the Unity UI you can reverse direction if needed.
It’s actually easiest for you. Connect everything together, update firmware if you need to to continue, then set up. It’ll actually walk you through step by step
It looks like it was probably a surface-mount resistor. Definitely shouldn’t use that controller until you find a matching one and replace it. I think the best thing to do would be to measure the resistance of the resistor that fell off and replace it with an identical one from mouser

Just got these bad boys (Kevin forgot the baseplates lul). Do I use blue (or red?) locktite or epoxy for these axles? I think I’ve seen both methods done but not sure which one to go with
Basically there’s a spot where the remote sends lots and lots of 0 throttle and absolute minimum throttle commands, on normal riding you really don’t notice it fortunately
