Got to find out what it is though before taking any action
that makes sense. Sorry for my stupidity. Can’t believe I almost bought that. Thanks
If those are 0.66V and 0.72V then that battery has to come apart. ![]()
I’m screwed, I think I can never finish a construction
Might be the actual balance leads are screwed too. But in any case that battery has to be opened
I’m here being the person I wish I was talking to when I started spending money.
Just be here for someone else later and don’t forget that donate button at the top to keep this ad-free and not aligned to a corporation trying to sell you shit.
this
must be the cables, otherwise it would not have the voltage of 42.5
I agree, but you have to find out for sure what the root cause is
Just proceed carefully and thoughtfully so hopefully the problem can be fixed without junking an expensive battery or burning anything down.
Also, get some heatshrink to put on that boy
Just get a nrf51 module. Google vesc bluetooth and make sure it mentions nrf and vesc, that’s all. If you only use it to program, price/quality doesn’t matter. They all do the same thing.
You can do everything in the android app, but if you don’t quite find something there, you can make a tcp bridge to the computer as long as they are on the same network, then you have the complete deal, on your computer, as long as the phone keeps the connection.
If you’re a die-hard iphone guy with no green robot powered devices in the entire house… well… good luck… you’ll need it
ouch
Remember only work on one wire at a time. Completely insulate it and be done with it before getting into the next wire.
Unfortunately, batteries must be serviced “hot” as you cannot “turn the switch off” while working on it.
And yes that’s probably definitely the issue. Those need to be soldered together with nice non-cold solder joints. My bet is on those wires are twisted together in there.
the problem now is that I end up with two rolls of duct tape Jajajaja
Heatshrink.
Tape: hours of unrolling
Heatshrink: snip snip
Yea apple everything as of right now lol, but I think I’ll just use my computer to program and later get the hm-10 module to look at real time data. I’m just looking for ways that are the most cost effective/convenient, since I don’t want to blow 50 dollars on a metr or something. Not that those aren’t good, but if its not essential, then I’d rather not get it.
