Go to the motor tab, tap on the 3 dots, and the detect bldc settings. Play with the starter values a bit, there should be no stuttering while detecting. Or just use FOC because 10s seems fine mostly.

Buy you’re getting qty 15 for $15 at Lacroix - that’s actually a pretty good price unless you want to buy 100
I dont sell those kind of spacers. I don’t think anyone else does either
Shipping cost 2x the item itself.

what is the smallest available dual vesc that doesnt suck?
Elaboration now that I charged my phone. Here’s what I’m trying to make happen.
And here are the problems: compartment is 1.5mm~ too narrow for this battery. I can fix that. It’s also 1.5mm~ to shallow. Solvable problems. It’s also 3-4mm~ too short to fit the batt+xenith. I could fix that, but I’d have to make a new lid, and… Meh. So I’m looking for options for a reliable dual//double single vesc, that take up a fair amount less space than this xenith. I understand that it’d be simpler and maybe even cheaper to just get a slightly smaller battery, but frankly, fuck that noise.
Id like to add that I will not be taking questions on the battery, I need to slap a new xt90 on and some new shrink wrap, and I already know that xD
I think the consensus is makerx, it’s VESC 4 but seems like a reasonable option
Thanks, but that takes up more room than a xenith in the direction I need to save space no matter how I rotate it. I’m pretty sure the only way is to make a new lid… little foccer is my last hope. Edit: Yeah little foccer don’t even measure where I need it to. Now to choose a material and supplier for a new lid…
Which honestly is probably the cheapest and easiest option but I don’t like wasting material.
You can also use 2x mini foc from maker X, they are the smallest vescs I’ve seen to date.
that might work actually. ill have to measure more, but its the only one that is less than the 67mm i need to cut down. id rather go that route, i have many other uses for my xeniths.
im supposed to sell all these but i really want this one and the hosoi and i already have 2-3 boards in my keep pile x.x
this one is almost definitely going to end up the nicest board ive ever made.
Yup I was about to say the same when I realised I was late and should have left home 20 minutes ago
Don’t forget they come with an electrolytic capacitor on the power leads
best way to stick rubber gasket to enclosure?
ultrasonic welding?
jk idk, maybe epoxy? or just some strong glue?
butyl tape
any specific brands which make good butyl tape
ive heard bad reviews about random amazon ones
flexible glue
I haven’t tried many brands but the first one I tried was great.
I’d get the smallest diameter or thickness or width that you can. But either way you can just roll it into a small (3mm ish) cylinder like clay
