Hey Guys, Noob all over here! Decided to build my own DIY board. However being UK Based we have poor roads, poor pavement and shitty police. Which means I have decided to give up on my 80mm kegal wheels and look at getting some SR Foamies. However I have been told by SR that I will need an adapter for my caliber 2 Trucks to fit their wheel. Would anyone have a clue where to find the adapter to get my conversion done?

Don’t buy SR foamies. They’re still selling the defective core.
More info here:
Hey all-
Since it appears that there are some real issues with the core quality on these wheels, please make an informed decision on whether or not you decide to buy/ride them. More information can be found here at the tail end of this thread:
The riders affected have reached out to iWonder with good results, so we may see an actual solution from them. Hopefully it’s a switch to a Kegel core or a big leap in core design of some kind.

Hey all-
With the launch of a new version of Cloud wheels/Foamies with a beefier clear core and the name “Discovery 120D”, let’s talk about them here to limit the confusion with the old version. For clarity, the Discovery only comes as a clear/translucent core.
If you have a pair like our friend @BluPenguin , please share your thoughts on them. Credit to @Hide from iWonder for stepping up and keeping us informed and supported as we transition to the new wheel with an improved core.

I have read a few posts about their core. Would anyone recommend an AT wheel I can add to my trucks?

Such a huge range/topic. Start here:
The Goal
I’m sure you’ve looked at a wheel and thought :
. . . What pulleys fit this wheel.
. . . What bearings does it take.
. . . What is the bolt hole spacing.
. . . is it compatible with . . . .
Most 3.75" Hubs can fit 7" 8" and Trampa 6.5" tyres
Possibly TB 6" Tyres
2.8" Hubs fit 6x2" tyres exclusively (Bergmeisters and Sixshooters)
After my frustration trying to find some AT wheel related information, I decided there should be a central place where this information lives.
The goal …

Is the belt on? Does the noise happen with it off? Sounds like a belt way too tight followed by a slipping grub screw on the motor pulley, but this noise alone makes is hard to diagnose.

Switch which ESC it’s connected to, does the noise change sides?
What are the results of the BLDC hand test?
Sometimes if you’re buying used, or troubleshooting, and need a quick way to see if anything might be wrong, you can test a BLDC motor with only your hands. It’s not the most accurate test in the world, but catches most problems.

Ensure motor phase wires are not connected to an ESC or anything else.
Verify the motor spins without grinding or rubbing. Put a tad of sideways stress on the shaft and push it and pull it (while turning) to veri…
Does it happen with no wheel or wheel adaptor?

Don’t use WD40 on any part of an esk8
bike chain lube would be better
gun oil is fine, but not as good
3-in-1 is fine
unused motor oil is even better
