That’s not a size :joy:

Looks like we’re both right. But he didn’t say what size of the hub did he get. Usually replacements are 6 inches. But you can get 7 as well.

I think I brought the wrong Bluetooth Module, but does anyone know what Bluetooth module is for a maker x retro esc? Is it a v4 or a v6? I brought a v6, so I’m not 100% sure on that…

Does anyone have an idea why I FOC works perfectly on my dual FSESC 4.20 but BLDC is has cut outs and produces faults? I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. :joy:

I tried to recreate the faults again but can’t seem to be able to. Still has cutouts though…

FOC actually works better than BLDC. BLDC is probably more complex since you have to know a lot about your motors, while FOC just tells you the motors and is more plug and play friendly.

@YUTW123 should have the best answer?

the difference in a HW6 BLE module and a HW4 is only the Rx and Tx pins…

Care to elaborate?

I feel you might mean the hardware is all the same but they switcherooed the pinout of RX and TX?

seconded.

ok look at your vesc variant pin-outs

a HW6 BLE module will be connected left to right 3v G nc RX TX
a HW4 BLE module will be connected left to right 3v G nc TX RX

see the subtle difference?

check you ESC pin-outs… I know nothing about your ESC variant

@kook but is the hardware identical across both ble modules?

YES

So…why did they make a new one? Too complicated to just switch pins or does the module you guys speak of not have wires?
