I also want to know this.
All of my builds can be fully disassembled with a metric hex key set and an adjustable wrench. Iâd like to keep it that way when I eventually use these beautiful trucks.
Axelâs take 10mm bearings. Everything else is Imperial. Mua ha ha ha!
German and Japanese10mm bearings are awesome.
Steve Irwin is Rolling in his grave
Now i understand why the rod end ball bearings looked different from mine!
Pretty much have the inquiry list cleaned up. As I stated before, these will be offered on the News to Forum members at the inquiry cost. If you are interested send me a message.
Do you think that the trucks could be dropped through on this board? If possible, would it be a good idea to do so?
I wouldnât go there.
With some wood work It looks plausible.
Would be questioning motor clearance. Might get away with standing the motor plates straight up.
Wouldnât that be somthin?
I gave drop through a little thought while setting up, the two linkages would also be an interference with the deck then. Basically need the holes at the very edges for that, even then not enough clearance.
After you modified then reinforced the deck to fit and oriented the motor plates however it might work!
ha I also thought about this.
brb, selling a kidneyâŚ
No for real, does anybody need a kidney? What about some DT trucks?
@MoeStooge
Is there anybody in London running 3-link trucks willing to meet up?
Super interested in seeing these in real life.
There is a set heading to Surrey. Canât say when the build will be done. I can ask and see if the builder would be ok with a meet-up when itâs finished.
cool, let me know!
@DEEIF when you open your videos you should say âI amâ not âThis isâ youâre too young to be objectified.
I thing this truck design is very interesting. What problem do they solve compared to RKP, DKP, TKP, channel trucks?
They solve no problems, just add a few new problems bc of more parts and screws which could break. Its just another truck system beneath them others. A pretty good one for us Eskaters i think.
No problems with RKP DKP TKP or channel. They all work well, have predictable tendencies and applications.
With the NKP, axel center and moment are on the same plane of travel.
Hope that clears it upđ
This sounds great, but what does it mean for an e-skater in real life?
What is the benefit over other trucks? What was your purpose to develop a different style of trucks. There must be something that bothered you and made you build those trucks.
I think the answer you are looking for is:
You can easily switch hangers on them, and use smaller or larger hangers and they have a much Thicker axle then them standard 8mm trucks.
They are very stable at high speeds and built modular, which is a big plus imo.
AND there is lots of space for almost every motor we use on eskates.
