Prodo truck could be rode without bush. I would not be suggesting that as a good idea.
The bushing riptide has prepared that come on the truck, is a good window I think most riders can dial preload to what they like. Of course bushing options shortly down the road will be available as there is no “perfect set”, just perfect options.
Well, It can be good for demonstration and experimental purposes.
Wow!!!
you’ve come a LONG ways with your axle/bushing adjustment/rod end axle fitment!!!
I remember when you and I had a qwik convo about threads on axles for adjustment!!!
keep up the science brother… the future is awaiting your arrival!
Learned a few things on metallurgy.
New Axel Is a 4130 chromoly. In the rolling process of the thread there is a heat treatment effect to the perimeter of the axel. Much like a case hardening. Stress testing was much stronger than the raw 4130 solid rod axel and still takes a bend rather than a break.
@kook When we talked threads my initial thoughts were they would be problematic. Glad I kept my mind open and pursued. They definitely added features to the truck.
I like the advancement and improvements!
well done!
Where do i order them? Can i have them before christmas?
Too much pressure I quit.
Dammit… Welp guess I’ll have to add a whisper part in the next video
Do an entire review like that
Might be worth it going for a slightly wider locking nut to minimise risk of thread stripping (narrower nuts place greater strain on the threads for the same torque applied when tightening)
Everything you are looking at is overbuilt. Would you please elaborate your experience and to which part it applies.
what does nkp stand for? no king pin?
