If sender did that i dont think its clearcoat. Think its clear epoxy.
I believe he means the bumps and little hole/pinch spot.

Could be because the epoxy was a little too dry already⌠I had that too on my enxlosure.

Well i think its the flow of the wood or something like that. Anyway i love the build 
Clearcoat helps avoid yellowing, is a bitch to apply so it sometimes looks weird.
