haha many thanks!
if i add an idler pulley i guess i should take some longer belts like… 290? 300? i have some 330 like around but i feel this is too much and no stock in Nexus so time to research.
i have not used idler ever, so i don’t know how much length to add, sorry
drop Nexus a DM, sometimes he has stock that isnt listed (I bought some idlers recently that werent listed…)
@Anubis In case you haven’t shipped my order yet, do you happen to have a spare (or 2) pwm cables laying around?
I tried to ship it today but didn’t make it so I guess you’re lucky, I willl put them in (The standard JST not the unity one though right?)
@anubis was wondering what the thane formula was like on the abec 97 reflys? i havent used thane in years and bought some 83mm evolve wheels but they were awful and destroyed my feet while also having little grip
The 83mm evolve branded ones? They’re known as the worst abec wheels in existance, maybe second only the the evolve stoneground
97 reflys are really good. I think they’re supposed to be a better wheel than TB100 for stuff like sliding and downhill type stuff, plus they’re way more available in the EU.
yeah but they reflys sadly actually arent that available except from you unless you want to pay like 150£
the evolve branded 83mm are awful and i can only use abec cores (carvons)
will prob buy a set from you.
was also wondering what your oil slick bearings are like? heavily greased or more like bones and how do they hold up?
97mm reflys are only like £80. The 107s are more, like 120 or so.
from you yes everywhere else they are around 100-120
the 107s are to large for me sadly
eitherway are the 97s your selling reasonably soft and grippy?
also what are your oil slick bearings like?
thanks
The bearings are just normal good quality skate bearings, same factory zealous and other use.
The refly formula is very soft, probably not as grippy as the wider TB/BOA wheels but not slipping about like stoneground evolves.
nice thanks a lot
just wanted to make sure your bearings werent cheap amazon junk
if they are from the same factory as zelous they are good enough for me
What wheels in your shop would you recommend for sliding on? … like your ownbrand ones that are curently out of stock, any they any good for sliding?
I always thought that the point of the evolve stoneground ones was to slide on them
hi @anubis i bought some reflys from you the other day and i didnt choose to pay for bearings but you included some? what should i do?
also thanks as the wheels look awesome and real soft
I put them in free
very kind of you thank you
def gonna be used for the moment
wheels look really nice especially since the reflys are virtually impossible to get for a good price here
Yeah many thanks @Anubis, great customer service as always!
I tried them today on the non-electric (yet) Omakase and they roll smoooooth!
For some reason my Bones Races (the ones with the built-in spacer like Zealous) don’t fit in the BN hangers… they got stuck at some point so i will use these instead.
