Any update on urethane drives? :slightly_smiling_face:

Not yet…out of budget making a batch for the urethane one :sob::sob:

Id be down to put money in for a preorder on a urethane 4GS system so long as you can match or beat 2.8:1 ratio while clearing 100mm wheels :upside_down_face:

So, we got our gen 4 available now!!

Available in 5 gear ratio & 4 gear ratio

Here is the things we improved

1: New abosrb system, we built in the coupling plate into the wheel gear, to minimize the space between the wheel & gear drive. Also people could use longer motor

2: More clamp option, sinced we used big bearing…it would fit large diameter hanger like lacriox hypertruck.

3: More motor option for the motors, our motor plate supports 30mm motor mounting pattern now.

@Ean.esk8 Are the case dimensions the same for 11/44 and 11/55?

They were not the same size in the previous gen and I suspect also not for the new ones.

Here’s the older drives next to one another

If it wasn’t clear, the one on the left is 3.45 and the one on the right is 5.0.

I do miss the quieter sound of these Newbee drives. I’ve been tearing around on 4 Jump Drives recently and they definitely scream in comparison.

Their are not
as you can see, by meansure the widest side…here is the size comparison.

How large is the new 44/11 compared to the previous 38/11?

It would be sick to see these adapted to work with SRB 3links.

It would be sick if SRB wheels could be adapted to work with normal esk8 transmissions

Not to derail this thread but SRB does have an adapter plate that allows you to connect SRB wheels to a belt drive cog.

3D servisas’ finality drives also have a adapter to use SRB wheels.

I’d like to see a enclosed gear drive that works with SRB 3links. For now just running open drives :metal:

They are so far removed from every other esk8 standard, asking for this is asking for a lot.

It would be a whole lot easier if those wheels were to change design to be more compatible with the rest of the industry instead.
