Newbee 3links style truck

if these are the pre-production models, how much are the main production sets going to cost? thinking about switching to your GD later down the line and would put it on these trucks.

I don’t think there is a 20x20 adapter anymore. I believe it’s only 19.5x19.5 (trampa precision) or 22x22 (apex air). Or hypertruck or matrix ii.

@Boardnamics can confirm if that’s right though.

20x20 and 22x22 make sense as standards. Perhaps mr bd namix will make more 20mm adapters?

Oh wow, what company made those?

Stooge is the OG, so your purchase went to the right place.

So the only right place for RKP trucks should be Randal?

Sell your set to an “OG” and buy these haha

Right after AVS I’ll definitely sell my stooge 3 link and buy these. I wonder how many will be left.

According to IG story there was only one set left today

I think since randall invented them in the 70s, it’s fair to say the grace window of respect for their invention has expired. Makes this basically a straw man argument.

Pretty common with most affiliates no matter the company

According to Reddit (authoritative source, I know) Gullwing also made RKPs in the late 70s, so maybe not as much of a strawman as you think, especially considering the far more rapid product development timelines of today.

I can’t wait to see some testing done.:fire::fire:

This sounds like a really fun thread idea

Beat me to it.
I was going to say the same thing, multiple other companies were making RKP trucks at the same time (also Variflex if you include them). It has been more time since the 3 links came out (2017) and the Newbee 3 links being released, than the time between Randall started making RKP and others started making them. Its been 6 and a half years that the stooges have been out

Those predate the SRB 3 links by almost a decade.

Oh that’s very interesting if true

Yeah, those were made by a company called Grom Biz, there are lots of videos and posts about them online.

Here is a video of someone riding them in '07 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I4oxiq_zDQ
And a forum thread in 08 of someone buying a seemingly used board C-11 Scriber board and trucks - Downhill - Charlie Dont Skate

These things have been around for a long time

GromBiz in essence behave more akin to an adjustable angle channel truck.
Not sure the relevancy here.

Aren’t they just an adjustable channel truck? They look a lot like the newbee I guess. but they aren’t 3-links.
