this made me chortle - enjoy your like.
You said like again so Iām counting it as 2
Speed carving at 27mph has always been sketchy af on any board out there. With the new boards, itās much more stable at high speed and much easier to do. Feels natural. As for lower speed deep carving, itās actually easier as well because we offer bushings that are 60a with the board (and good for the lightweights at 120lbs-150lbs) so if you want to deep carve, itās better than the proto as well.
in this video, at 1min18sec (play it on mute, I warned you!), you see the Lonestar on a loose setting, i.e. our new 60a blue bushings in front, our new 70a white bushings in back (which would be the equivalent of softer than yellow MBS bushings in the back and softer than MBS blue bushings (the softest MBS ever made, they only made a handful prototype version of these for us and never commercialised it) in the front).
It gives you an idea of how nimble can be if you want it to. I wouldnāt recommend going fast than 18-20mph on that setup. For me, at 190lbs, it feels like the loosest board ever. Can make figure 8s in a single lane street.
First boards ship tomorrow so youāll see more footage soon.
Prove it. Doesnāt look like it in that video.
Iād like to see this as well. Thatās a pretty insane turn radius.
If this is true, that would be amazing
I personally have done a figure 8 in the direction of travel of the lane but not across a single lane. For reference: The Interstate Highway standards for the U.S. Interstate Highway System use a 12-foot (3.7 m) standard lane width , while narrower lanes are used on lower classification roads . In Europe, laws and road widths vary by country; the minimum widths of lanes are generally between 2.5 to 3.25 metres (8.2 to 10.7 ft).
Very valid point to consider.
Still off topic. This is what it should look like, ya know, for reference. 3link
he could do doughnuts!
That would be great, if we could buy it.
Hereās a real single lane for you.
**ck me, the board looks absolutely sick from that video, really do looks like a new generation of vehicles, I just got really curious about oneā¦
Edit: @MoeStooge how does the hummie do that??
No getting away from it this is a really nice setup.
The unity does some baby mode now if you dont update the firmware to the latest so I doubt it.
Prob user error, but slight possibility unity wasnāt updated
Maybe remote related?
Yup thatās what we are discussing, vx1 has had some hidden problems
