They’re called speed holes. They make your board faster. I see them drilled into Honda bumpers all the time. Those cars are loud and fast. Like so fast

Boosteds can’t make our group rides anymore lol, they stopped coming
yeah, went to a boosted group ride in my early days of esk8ting, was surprised and disappointed on how often they stopped and charged 
If they have 2* a extended range battery they can do 36km. That is on most rides enough.
I have to say that boosted is one of the most reliable boards
I guess expanding their catalog of products to keep the range a concern is “on brand”?
