5mm maybe. But thickness doesnât change from 7p to 8p 
It doesnât but the enclosure gets slightly narrower towards the bottom so while youâd be able to put 7P all the way down, the same is not necessarily true for 8P.
UPDATE:
26650 hardware is coming mid December.
There will be another winter sale for a month as usual.
I will start selling V2 modules which are smaller.
I will have some V1 old stock at half price.
Now i need to hope all this pandemic nonsense does not affect me too much and i can deliver on time

21700 and 26650 hardware and modules will be available at the end of December. 18650 ships as usual.
Shipping will incur delays due to Christmas and pandemic so bear that in mind when ordering.

From my perspective no. I designed enclosures and tabs to fit one another, have best possible contact area and pressure to keep cells snug.
There are other systems on forum using braids.but you can do whatever you want and test for yourself

Yeah, I have a few braided copper packs w/ winflyâs compression packs. They need to be under even, sturdy compression (ideally like in a haya or the old-style, double-cutout hummie), and assembly isnât nearly as fool-proof. Having said that, I really like my packs, and they were balls-cheap to put together, but I have some NESE packs that are also great and will be buying some more hw now that theyâve got 26mm size.

Hi. Yes, i did had sets but there was too many products and variations and with 26650 additionally it will be nightmare⌠There will be a revision on prices and they will get cheaper slightly and there will be a paid option to request tabs to be precut.
@RyEnd, the 26650 hardware is made, just need to get logistics sorted out.
