Would you consider making a bigger, more powerful version of NeoHubs?
PS. I know heat is the main problem -now that we’re getting some hotter days the motors get so hot after 30 minutes of hard riding that you can’t touch for more than 0.5 seconds -and remain untouchable for almost another half hour! I didn’t think they were getting that hot last year -I guess it’s because I was riding much more carefully due to the random cut-offs I was getting from Unity back then.
They are still very fun to ride though (for the first 20 minutes or so when throttling kicks in -which thankfully covers my typical commute )
The neoHUB is actually quite powerful! It’s possible to make bigger, but I think is no need, because hub motor is already inefficient for cooling so bigger doesn’t mean better.
It’s not right that you lose your hubs + shipping cost to a liar while you were trying to help us all get sleeves so I’d be happy to chip in to cover part of your loss.
He’s not ignoring me 'cause I haven’t pressured him yet to give them back. I was out of the game for a while and havent read up to all that has happened. He said it would take him until may, so I waited. But now Jeff is actually someone else that has a very bad reputation in esk8 business? I’ll look for a way to reach him and ask him first.
