Wow. I decided to read this whole thread for memories when I didn’t know shit about anything 
crazy what reading and researching does for you. Right now i’m about done with my first electric skateboard build. Crazy I would ever get this far honestly, this is more of a appreciation post to everyone that’s helped me understand the basics of basically everything that makes up an esk8. Can say now I know a good amount of info and how everything works. Went from not knowing how to solder to being an amateur, just finished painting the enclosure, finished soldering all the electronics a week ago and finished the motor mount, now all I have to do is program everything. Test every single part to make sure it’s running at peak performance and take it out on it’s first maiden voyage, can check out my DIY build thread here in case your interested
