My integrated deck project continues | Test monkeys found

These look awesome!!!
Have you considered smoothing the transitions from deck into the ends of the enclosure parts? This area

To me, the change from deck thickness to enclosure end here looks a bit odd. If this is fully cnc’d could the transition here be more gradual and gentle?

I’ll be dropping the step down module and a few cells so I think so

I love where this is headed, because a part of me doesn’t want to buy another deck that needs an enclosure.

@rasco Thank you. I have thought about fading that part. I haven’t for a few good reason, but I still may. For one, a lot of the spring in the deck comes from that part. Two, the length of the material I use is 46". If I cut it the length in the picture, I can use the off-cut for the short boards that I make. It helps keep the cost down. BUT it would look slick if that part faded in really neat. I totally agree.

+1 for a clean fade if possible

Thank you, Bill. I should have 11 total designs by the end of the summer. From penny-boards to AT decks, there will be plenty of fun toys to choose from

Will these all be made to order, or are you planning to keep stock?

Made to order at first, but I’ll likely keep stock of popular shapes.

Any idea on the price ranges we’d be looking at? I understand it would be a very rough estimate atm.

Thought I dropped this in here but it was just in our private group message… Been having a lot of fun on this deck, done probably ~200mi and will continue to rack 'em up while…

…I put together V2 which I just picked up today. This one is going on channels, dual belts, and 155x55 metro tires. Give me a couple weeks, but also bother me daily.

I believe he expressly told me a 40 inch choo choo was in the works.

Wouldn’t that just be the AT deck he posted above?

If my little MonBonnet hadn’t turned in the blue dress, I might still be in the corridors of power.
