@JustNeL you know it’s a rough morning when you start putting the coffee beans in the water reservoir instead of the grinder…
It’s about the third time I have done this…

I ride the Onewheels switch a lot.
I think it’s easiest with them and the single pivot point.
I rolled around the neighborhood for a couple miles to warm up and loosen up.
Mostly switch.
What is funny is I am rolling switch here towards the left with my left foot in the front.
But the way my feet are sitting on the Onewheel is almost the same as regular facing…
You’re riding fakie. not switch.
nerd technical wonk skateboarder has entered the chat
Fakie it until you make it!!!
Mono Wheels
I suppose I have influenced 3 people to buy Onewheels…
Including the neighbor and his girlfriend that cruised by today on their Pint S and XR Classic.
Those are both really nice feeling boards right out of the box.
Kids are so lucky these days when it comes to Onewheels too!!!
The Pint S is so much nicer than the Pint X I got back in the day. Great footpads and great tire.
I was just yesterday looking at the all new Onewheel Rally XL (new GT-S series) , you checked that out yet ?
On my second cup of the day now… Today has been a lazy one for me.
3500+ is pretty crazy though. I feel like you could make a top spec Vesc board for that price that would be wayyyy better.
Big size and even bigger price.
I think they will sell well, and people will like them.
There are lots of people happy to take an FM product out of the box and go ride it.
Certainly not for me…
And now they have something with more power.
But as @Dnollie said… Id build a killer BTG Vesc instead and have some cash left over.
Yey.
I can quit shaking in the corner now…
When I saw the forum was down this was the first thread I thought about. I expect a dump of 4 days worth of content to catch up!
where were we?
The mono wheel pictures go back to September 13th. It’s October 7th
Much has happened. Let’s see to what extent I can catch up…
Out on the Almost a Flux
Sunday September 14th…
Charging up. All the boards just lean on the wall now instead of hooks. So I just drag boards closer to the charger… I need a better charging system…
I set off to the trails and Gravel trails a around me. it was early on a Sunday morning. Very peaceful.
These MBS tires are great for gravel trails…
Can you spot the Blue Heron?
Dude where is my car?
I had a legitimate dude where’s my car moment that morning…
We had gone out the night before.
My wife drove downtown and parked the car.
when I went there in the morning to go grab it I could not remember where she had parked it!!!
I roamed around for a good 10 minutes before I actually remembered and found it…
Field trip
Monday September 15th.
I got to accompany the boy on a field trip at a garden accross town.
The Flux is the choice for going far fast.
I was going to roll around on the Flux slowly…. But got asked to put it away not to distract the children…
Tuesday September 16th
I got out on a lunch break ride on the 44 Ultra.
This is a joy to ride.
Giant.
Plush.
Carvalicious!!!
The afternoon routine
As I’m gearing up to get the boys I hear the school bus drive by.
It’s my signal to roll up the street to meet Naia.
She usually hi jacks whatever I’m riding.
I rolled the Uditer around a bit.
It’s so loose…
September 17th was a big day for esk8…
The MAD LAC gets 101s
The 125s are plush and giant and awesome and look amazing on here.
But I lose traction on them here and there and don’t have the full confidence I get with the OG MAD 101s…
With the full lean of the Singularitys set up I need all the possible grip.
Maybe I could get that with the Radium wheels…(wish I could buy everything…)
I
I could not use my shinny new Radium Pulleys because they came with 8,mm bearings and I need 10… and it’s a 24mm outer so, not bearings I had around.
This thing is so low…
It’s so cool…
Dude you need to try a set if you haven’t. They are my favorite street wheels. Even the hard compound one grips really good.
Damnit…
.The DB Paradigm DKP
Still Wednesday September 17th.
I brought the Paradigm out of the basement to fuel my desire for DKP.
To speed this process along I stole the battery from the Demonseed…
Below is a photo dump related to this.
But it in fucked up order… because I guess that is how things are now…
Makes it hard to post…
