I definitely like APS wayyy more than krank especially in 3 links, but yeah it’s probably a day’s hard work changing them ![]()
Yey.
I managed to undo and redo 20 connections…
And now I have raised the height of the 3 Links…
I feel this took me in the right direction and now the board turns more
So many steps…
So much work…
Took some more off the back of the deck…
Oh look. Cables where they should be…
Unfortunately this all revoked Ultra status…
Tiny board and tiny dude!!!
I went and rode the Demonseed last night.
I have mixed feelings…
I am not sure I made the overall feel any better…
The struggle is real.
It does turn more.
It’s different in a way.
It’s like I initiate my turns with my back foot now with the way this is…
I went back and forth on bushing tension.
I have almost no tension upfront and a little bit in the back.
This guy chilling back on my back deck
Vinnie!!!
I took a break from the exciting world of battery building to run to the store.
Back again on the Demonseed.
It’s super dry here right now and the smaller creeks are just rocks right now…
It was a nice ride.
I feel something unsettling about these trucks and can’t let myself be happy about the change yesterday. I keep thinking it rode better overall slightly lower.
I’m just in my head more than anything…
But maybe this is a Candidate for Drop Through Baby Tito’s @Titoxd1000 !!!
The thought that just came to my head on raising the Demonseed…
The back feels better…
But the front feels worse…
School pickup is so great this time of the year.
It’s so pleasant out.
All this time when I would get the gravel flux and the trailer and go to the school I used to get geared up
Knee pads.
Jacket .
Gloves.
This year I decided to be dangerous and just wear my half shell…
I go pretty slow the whole time and I’m just trusting the skateboard to not magically stop on me.
I have been messing around with just a half show a whole lot these days I hope it doesn’t fuck me up.
But a more casual approach to Esk8 is pleasant.
Slow carves is where it’s at.
Riding slow is good for keeping up with the kids
The boys vibing riding home is the coolest thing!!!
Look @Pecos switch stance!!!
Riding switch is great for rolling along slower riders
Today’s happy hour was sponsored by Bulleit bourbon and the 44
I faceplated into the spider web when I opened the back door to go on the deck this morning…
That was not my favorite…
It has since moved location.
The V1 and the Joy of thane!!!
I headed out today to go work from a coffee shop downtown.
I decided to take the V1 because it doesn’t take up a ton of room…
And the handle I put on there works well.
(I almost took the Dinghy) For the smallest possible form factor.
But the V1 sounded better.
I stopped by to see the turtles.
I decided to meander a while before going to the coffee shop and ended up finding mega new freshies in one of my favorite neighborhoods to ride.
Freshies so fresh they are stinky
I rolled back and forth on the same street a bunch enjoying the freeroll of the V1.
Now I’m here…
The coffee was really good too…
Bulleit Train
Man ive been out of whole beans for almost 2 weeks and i finally bought some today… Stopping myself from making some now after i had dinner ![]()
The 3 Links Demonseed Saga continues
I’ll be honest.
I don’t really understand everything that @fessyfoo told me to try and the angles and steer and yada yada yada…
But I decided to take the Arms on the front from the top spot to the bottom spot.
On the surface I think this would be counter intuitive to this turning more…
But was only about 6 connection points I had to undo.
So I said let’s give it a try.
I struggle with truck stuff because I can’t be very objective with changes and adjustments.
I operate more on feelings and the vibe.
And the vibe varies …
Today the vibe is positive. And while trying the new set up up front, it seems like it may feel better to me.
I’m about to go run to the grocery store with it!!!

on any truck.
increase steering angle. less lean per steer.
decrease steering angle. more lean per steer.
yeah. less lean per steer won’t increase steering. but you’ll lean more for the same steer which is sometimes what people are looking for. “might be the vibe”
brilliant. small changes are very subjective and very relative to what you’re used to. so it is actually quite hard to be objective about it all. I think a lot of people don’t recognize this in their observations. but you do.
Yikes…
Looks like I had forgotten a couple of the 22 connections on the back trucks and had the arm lock nuts just hanging…
