Welp.
It was a good adventure tinkering tonight…
It’s 1am…
I got 60% done maybe…
Maybe I am underestimating how long shit should take.
I got the new hubs on.
That went mostly smoothly.
I had to dig out another pair of wheel pulleys to make the spacing from the motor plate correct.
Sometimes it pays to be a hoarder.
I broke a long bolt… Stripped another one… So I had to cut down bolts…
These are the long ones for the pulleys.
I like to go through the hub and spacer with a long bolt.
Bearing seats on the hubs seemed firm.
The 7 inch evolve tires look to be spinning pretty true.
All I do for balancing is put one little weight on the outside of the hub opposite the valve.
I’m using a spacer and a speed ring between the bearings.
I like the design of the hubs and the assembly was easy with the front side holding the two bearings.
Neat stuff.
I really hope they ride well.
It is quite the difference with the way the tires look vs mbs rockstars II.
So yeah.
Tires rotated.
New hubs in.
And I am loving the look.
