/disclaimer I haven’t done measurements yet, this is just thumb sucking.

Lol, i doubt there is even 7cm underneath a haero.

I was planning on about 25mm internal depth, 28mm total

Well if I’m laying the cells down, they’re still 26mm thick.

Thinking about this more, I wonder how easy / feasible a modular top-mount enclosure would be?

So I can have a permanent top-mount on there for 24S2P plus the AS, ESC’s, and RX. Then be able to plug another 24S3P layer on top for when I need the extra range.

That way I maintain clearance at the bottom, and use that beautiful waist on top for my electricals.

My feet never go there anyway.

Hey @malJohann,

Did you assemble your Headway cells using the included connectors and cell holders (pictured below), or did you work out another way to put them together? I dont see a n00d pic of the battery anywhere here.

These thingies: image

My application wont require many amps (10/15 at speed and 40/50 for pulls from 0mph), so if you used them Ill know its totally fine for me to as well

First two packs were done with the included Nickel plated Steel busbars. Second two were done with my own fabbed Copper busbars. They were all hot glued together, then PVC wrapped, second batch had cardboard ends over the terminals under the PVC too.
