Medium Rocket | TB 90kv | 12s6p | Ubox | TB 110

Build was a huge pain but finally came together. Was pretty straight forward vesc setup at least. Detected my motors foc, sensored 120amp max 60a per motor and set sensorless eRPM to 10000. Looks good ready to test on slightly good weather. Got the battery and enclosure from eboardsperu/eboosted and looks great. Strangely what I’m most happy about is the battery/enclosure but everything is looking great, also after bothering torqueboards a bit with support lol.

Me too actually, it’s the jet spud 29" DS enclosure, there is like barely a cm on each side left haha. Glad I spent some time going over the measurments. Still kind of asking myself, is that actually a 12s6p under there lol

I can’t ride stuff without kicktails then I saw this and reminded me of old boards but with a longer wheelbase to go faaast. Love at first sight haha

It definitely feels torquier than the meepo lol, but speed was the goal. Hopefully she can reach close to the mechanical speed limit.

what deck is that, the DS enclosure is same width with the deck, the bolt seem a tad too close to the edge?

It’s the Loaded Overland, the concern area is where it narrows and yes it’s definitely closer than I’d like, it actually overlaps slightly. Hopefully nothing funky happens?

nice deck, its only a mild flex, should be okay…maybe :man_shrugging:t2:

report back when it crack  :crossed_fingers:t2:

Love it! Definitely an inspiration for me. Also cannot ride without one  old habits i guess…

You reckon a gear drive would fit in there?

Also really stoked about this enclosure. Didn’t find the dimensions on the @eBoosted page, would be cool to have them.

Are those cable pass-throughs water proof?

I love this build! The lines on the enclosure match up nicely with the grip tape design and it all looks very cohesive. Fitting such a massive battery into such a small space is a terrific feat. Great work! I am looking forward to reading some ride reviews in the future.

Congrats, I’m happy the enclosure fitted on the deck right off the bat.

Soo I snuck in a ride today. I had to pack it in quick at first because something was up with the stock grease on the bearings and redid these motors also with my red stuff. I was getting a high pitch squealing from the bearings. I’m thinking what is used inside isn’t meant for the g forces inside and needs more packing. After that they had some wierd rumbling noise for a few runs when I accelerated but then it way away and just crazy rips after. This thing easily hits 60kmh I spent about 5km running 40-60kmh and got some acceleration cutoff I’m thinking motor temp they were pretty warm for -8c outside lol. The road outside was redone recently so it’s absolute butter right now. I’ll see if I can get some further testing in tomorrow.

Thank you for the kind words guys, I definitely spoke with eboosted a bit about the fitment, and it payed off, although more dimensions on the site would have cut down on that haha. Also I was pretty concerned about some motor noises and was speaking wih TB support and feel bad for wasting his time, since in the end things are looking good but there was definitely some tweaking needed. They ride super nice though and wheels are obviously awesome.

I also shortened the enclosure mounting screws since they were kinda catchy:

It’s salt spray lol cans are probably perfect aside from the impending rust.
