Medium Rocket | TB 90kv | 12s6p | Ubox | TB 110

There is a gasket going around the enclosure and there is a spot to route the cables. I wouldn’t call it water tight the way it is, but some foam tape would fix it easily.

I have no idea if a gear drive would fit, not sure how one fits either haha.

I feel ya man, if there were more I’d maybe get another backup lol. I hope it’s just some shortage and not discontinued.

i think its discontinued, loaded no longer have that deck listed on their website (or maybe im just blind) :joy:

Omg I think you’re right, the search links to a 404 page. Feelsbadman

I did cringe a bit drilling this board since its so nice, the revel kit does have that good factor about it not screwing up the original deck.

yea i just placed my order two days ago, hopefully they will ship before they disappear for the lunar new year :sleepy:

Hopefully it ships, pretty close though!

Here’s some TB wheel stretch porn; I guess obviously this happens but didn’t notice it before, pretty cool. Might not do it too much benched so it doesnt fly apart lol.

I don’t think they will fly apart on the bench. I have noticed that too, and wonder if that’s part of why they grip so well.

That’s good to hear at least, I was wondering if it’s ok to spin unloaded bearings or the wheels but I guess the forces on the wheel are pretty similar if not worse on the road.

It’s my opinion that if you can break it by operating it on the bench, then it’s not road-worthy in the first place.

Be careful. Metal will break the wire through vibration.

Yeah this was pretty temporary, not even 100% sure I’m staying with the spintend I might switch to the xenith with a heatsink this is probably going to have heat issues.

Speaking of which, the motors get pretty hot after 3km of speed runs does this make sense?

Fixed mostly, the power wires to the esc might still be an issue on that one spot ugh

I think mine is pretty good now, not super pretty but safe.

Printed some some of those diy shredlight adapters with carbon fiber PC, which prints way nicer than the tglase ever did and seems as strong. Might have to switch the 4000lm emisar to this one now

Also thinking of trying awd but I have like no room, is there any 30-40a esc that could do awd in the space I have?

smallest is hd60 which is trampas its apparently the size of a credit card

You could stack 4 of these for 30A each, or the plus version (just a bit wider) for 50A each:

this.
also HD60, but its pricey for a build that might not work that well

Agreed, even visually it looks awkward now. Have to resist the urge to mess with it until the summer to check how the Spintend does enclosed.

Skatan wanted sacrifice today, if video doesn’t work my torqueboard motor is being a clicky fucker. The can has bad tolerance for the big bearing so its just flopping around.
