MCRN Rocinante | Haero Bro | 20s4p | Corvette-class

I put the enclosure +gasket on the deck. Measured how much of the drill bit is needed to get through it all + almost through the deck. I then used a collar lock on that part of the drill.

As I drilled all the holes, the enclosure was clamped down and I put bolts through the holes as I went in an “X” pattern. I used 4mm bolts so I drilled 4mm holes.

After, I take everything off and use the correct drill bit +collar to make the holes in the deck the right diameter.

Then I inserted the inserts with the socket cap bolt

What kind of range are you getting with this battery? Having a 20s4p built soon so I’ll curious!

@glyphiks was it first to spot my backwards enclosure, we had a good run, made it through the BOTY vote without anyone noticing haha

I spray painted this little decal to take attention away from it

I’ve been riding this thing in the rain a little bit since it’s basically unavoidable in Portland. I opened her up last night to check for any water ingress, looks like absolutely none of it got in. I had a silicone seal all around the outside of the enclosure. But now I put it on the gasket itself, this thing should be really really water resistant now.

I like your tire stack board prop lol

What the heck is this thing though?

A clip-on light?

Yeah, it’s pretty handy

Well this was interesting. Rocinante was too much for this slippery track, I was able to do a burnout at any speed with less than 50% throttle.

There was a few hours with grip right after they sprayed the track with corn syrup

Is this a typical technique?

I’ve never heard of spraying a track with sugar, but i don’t race much.
