@fastrider do you have a pic of wires soldered onto receiver? Just curious how it’s done, cause I want to do it too.
Is that the relay and will receiver work with it removed?
The receiver with that thing (relay?) is bulky and won’t fit in my enclosure.

Actually I didn’t take a photo after I unsoldered the pins but here’s it lined up anyway unless you just want to see the solder work. I can get a pic of that too if needed.
You will likely have to swap rx and tx from the labels orientation

I’m still learning how to solder (my attempt at swapping out XT60 for XT90 on my Unity looks rough/butchered), so I’m really wary of doing any kind soldering.

I noticed you have different connector plugging into the Unity. What kind of connector is that? JST PH something something? The connectors that come with the remote don’t plug into the Unity securely, still loose.

Correct, those are just single jumper wires I use for quick testing. I used a full 6 pin jst terminal on the unitiy and just unpinned all the unused connectors.
I just cracked my lid and realized its all double side taped tight so I would not like to undo that.

Hi @Eileen, can you explain the decision to have the relay, set up as NO, act as NC when the remote is off but the reciever is powered?

Trying to turn my remote into a portal gun for Halloween 
I have a model of the screen taper that I could make work with some testing but an overlap cut would be much faster and cleaner.

Do you have any images of the FSESC? i had this issue with an non-ridden fsesc and it turned out i had shorted my 5v pin with some solder to ground at the PPM pin, took that away and my issue was sorted.
