Maytech 6374 150kv motor Casing Problem - can you solve this?

Maytech 6374 150kv motor Casing needed

I smashed the motor casing on a large rock (that came out of nowhere i might add :zipper_mouth_face: ) and this smashed one of the magnets inside which i have now removed, Now the motor does not work right. I need to find a solution quick :frowning: Appears the motors themselves are out of stock at boiboards and noone else seems to sell 150kv.

Is the casing the same on all motors? can i get a casing from another motor broken in differnt way and use that?

If anyone knows where i can find a replacement casing the same as the photo above please let me know?

Someone had a broken stator recently on that same motor, if I recall. Can’t remember who. They’d have a working rotor…

Why not glueing it back? it will work just fine…

casing is dented and makes ticking noise when it turns and the magnet was smashed into approx 47peices

Try contacting Maytech, it is the same bell of any of their 6374 motors…Or buy a cheap used one (does not matter the kv)…swipe bells and you are good to go

They are already out of stock?! Just bought a couple, I am glad I was able to get them good price too.

Can we get a picture to see the damages?

Ah, it was @rafaelinmissouri

Don’t all Maytech 6374 motors have identical cans? Doesn’t just the stator change when rewinding for different kv values?

Edit: Ah, you asked that. Personally I don’t see why not, but don’t know for certain.

After starting a few thread, looking into option, trying to source a replacement bell housing…
emailing maytech direct see if they can help or supply a new cover.
checked unikboards, etox, eskating.eu see if anybody else ahs a 150kv maytech motor…

I was also chatting in a couple of esk8 chats praying to find a spare bell housing to replace the one i smashed…

Then i messages Mackann at Bioboards
as i checked their site and they are out of stock to see when they may be back in stock or if they had any replacement parts…

TO MY COMPLETE SHOCK:::::::
Mackann replied and is sending me a replacement motor to fix the one that i (stupidly) crashed into a rock.

Im utterly surprised, shocked and completely overwhelmed with this act of generosity and customer service.

i cant express enough gratitude to this one company after so many let downs by so many different people over the past 4months of building a DIY board this 1 company has put them all to shame in every area of business and service.

Bioboards, thank you for your assistance.

If you haven’t ordered from bioboards i really recommend considering them for your next order. They are different to most esk8 companies here!

They want like 50$ plus shipping and you will have to wait, so its not really worth it

If you do put in your address or select which shipping to use it defaults to a very expensive one.
Standard shipping calculation for me was £76 till i selected an address and shipping method then it changed to £38 for 3 days shipping via UPS… ensure you follow the cart through and select the differnt shipping options they have super cheap shipping too like less than £20…

i thought the same till i completed an order to get rid of the shipping calculation that is wrong…

I was talking about maytech , not bioboards

oops sorry mate

BTW that daly BMS has lasted 3 times longer than ANY of the bestech BMS already!!!

Bestech quality has dropped from what I see on the forum…
