I disassembled them. Put them back for the pic. I used adhesion promoter and clear topcoat. I expect the tires to do exactly that. Just hope it won’t be too much and quickly. Though at least the bottom colour is yellow. My hope is the trucks and rims hold up.

Yes. I had to file the middle of the bolt and strip off the spray paint because it was too tight to put back together. Same with axle part of wheels 
didn’t do the orange bushings. Also have yellow. Want that not painted.
Oof. As you learned the hard way, it is not recommended to paint hardware.
