Making a street beast from all the parts I couldn't sell

Second hand market here in the U.S. isn’t great, even when the gear is brand new people expecting half price.
so I’m taking the opportunity to build myself a proper street beast from all the parts I have. should come together fast.

Build setup:

  • Idea Deck Flex 2 with mountainboard brackets

  • Acedeck NYX Z3 suspension trucks

  • Acedeck NYX Z3 gear drive and motors

  • Linnpower wide hubs

  • Xcell RS165 V1 tires

  • Duck battery system PCB (Molicel P42A 12S8P configuration)

  • Hoyt Puck 2.0

  • MakerX DV6S ESC

  • 100A Smart Bluetooth BMS

Things to do:

  • Make CNC Linnpower to Acedeck gear adapter (I know I can buy but spending 200$ on it is not justified

  • Make battery case

  • Mud guards

  • Light system

  • CNC anti sink plates

  • few more cnc cuts to make all the parts talk together

  • Top LED logo as I did * here

Picture for now- will update daily

That grip tape looks sick. Did you make it or but it like that? It’s padded too right?

Definitely looks worth the money!!!

I might have a CAD file for this already made up.. I’ll check tomorrow when I get home. I made some for @andoug for Linn wheels to fit on 4GS drives, and these would be very similar. I already have the CAD for the Acedeck gear drive couplers.

Does it sit pretty tall?

Is there any way you could move the trucks out a little bit to clear the bump on the bracket?

I suppose those trucks are just tall. Do they sit lower when you are riding?

Thank you, took me 1 hour and 2 attempts but I have working printed version, made my own “standard”.
going to CNC the wheel adapter and 3D print MJF TPU the suspension going between them.

but still if you have some cad files for me to save as a backup, please share.. Thank you again!

I can change, but the idea in this thread is not to buy anything
only parts that sitting in my house will be used. for the height it seem not too tall, it does go down a little when I’m on it and the 12S8P pack itself requires ~50mm enclosure.

I’m going to CNC adapter plate soon, that will be the task called “few more cnc cuts to make all the parts talk together”
