Apperantly he tested it at 15s not fully charged, so 55v according to him, a good vesc can handle that, as focboxes and fsesc’s and vesc 6 have run @13s fully charged which is 54.6v

lol, guess this wont work on 13s either XD

It is safest to leave a voltage margin of 20% for the vesc. the spike voltage generated during braking will be much larger than the battery voltage.

Lol 12s fully charged is exactly 20% margin, 20% of 63v is 50.4

Vesc using DRV8301(2) supports a maximum voltage of 60v,

63v is the absolute max according to TI?

20% of 60 is 12.
60-12=48V

OK…But the voltage of mos is also limited

Even more excited! It’s gonna get put through the paces

When will these be back in stock and shipping again?

I already got shipping info even tho it said shipping may take up to to 8 days. Can say, tracking hasn’t updated yet ~24 hours after confirmation. I didn’t expect anything until Friday at the earliest so I guess they’re ahead of schedule.

I am confused. The post that said they are sold out has been deleted it seems.

All orders have been placed , Cheers :beers:

Looks like these will be showing up tomorrow. My 4wd build won’t be ready for ESCs until after the holidays, but I’ll throw one in my 2wd deck in place of my fesc 6.6 plus and put 80A through it before I leave town to see what’s what.
It should be a good comparison since I’ve been riding this deck at 40/40 w/ the fesc since ice/gravel/shitinthestreets had me turn it down a bit for winter.

Dual? The image shows it as a single?
