@Madesk8 and stooge did an amazing work on these!!! It was tested properly that’s why it took time!!!
I am running an intro sale. $299 for a set. I also doing a combo with MAD tubeless wheels for $499. The sale will be going for the reminder of the week!
What’s the distance between the center of the axle to the baseplate (distance between mounted deck and axle)? Looking to get an idea of what ride height would be.
How long til they can ship?
Is there an official thread for these with more info? What are the differences between these are the Meepo variant? @fujio001
The trucks are shipping now.
We can use this thread to discuss the trucks.
How’s the ride feel compares to Stooge 3 links? I have tried other similar designs like Juma trucks and they don’t rl have any rebound which feels kinda weird at first cause you don’t have that return to center feel.
Are they 300mm wide tip to tip (including axles)?
Whats the max distance from the tip of the axle to the mounting surface of the motor mount assuming the control arm mounts are spaced according to the build guide (37.4mm)?
The MAD Links have a similar feel to other 3-links. During testing me team and I found that smooth spherical bearings are critical to get full and smooth articulation out of the trucks.
Any chance you can get me the measurements? I might want to experiment with my own drivetrain but would need to know if I have enough room to work with.
Motors, pulleys, timing belts, bearings and wheels are what you need. You can use pretty long belts with the new motor mount plates. They handle poor asphalt great. Small obstacles are not an issue.
These new engine plates for long B-straps, I need a pair for my 3-link Mad V1
In the picture above, I have the wheel kit included, with the Mad Slikes tires. The 60t wheel is mounted on the rim. Are there really no bearings included for the wheels? Why don’t you sell them in your shop?
Which belt size do you recommend for mad-wheels-slikes-tires 60t and Rodium 6455 motor with 16T?
When I make the next batch of truck, I will make several extra sets of the new motor mount plates. I’m not sure when that will be. When they are available, I will make a post.
