Looking for DKP trucks to mount Radium 6485 (205kv) motors

I’m looking for some wide(r) trucks to mount Radium’s 6485 (205kv) motors onto my Pivot GT. I wanted to use Evolves coloured trucks and motor mounts, but I think they’re too small for the new motors (85mm in length each).

Radium used to sell trucks, but they’ve removed it from their store.

Is anyone able to reccomend 200mm+ DKP trucks?

Not DKP, but probably much better Mad Esk8 3-Link Truck Set – SkyartPowerSystems

I second that these are likely better; however, the flipsky trucks have worked well for me! I did change them to TKP tho with the B-One Board DKP to TKP baseplate

how are they better? ive never used 3-links before, but I know a bunch of racers that swear by them

It depends on your goals, DKPs are super good for low speed everyday riding, but they are unstable at speeds over 20-25 unless you install hard bushings, which defeats the purpose of the DKP truck at that point.

3 link for the most part are able to offer both incredible menuverability and reasonable high speed stability

Also throwing in as an option;

Very similar result as 3 links, but requires less maintenance

Yeah I think DKP became obsolete for DIY. My take on DKP is most company use them to deal with clearance issues.

I have a DKP set up and I really enjoy it.

I think they have lots of positives if you are not trying to go super fast.

The Evolve trucks and mounts seem solid and were a good price.

I did add riptide bushings.

I super enjoy the carving and maneuverability.

Ground clearance is great. And carrying the board is great.

As usual. Friendly reminder I’m not a guy that likes going really fast…

It comes down to which dkp truck you have. 30 on metroboard dkp isn’t particularly difficult with a loose setup
