I do it, but you need solder skills. As with most DIY, it’s not foolproof. It works really well though, if done correctly.
You said fast was the goal, this can be done in mere minutes.

I have these from a light my homie gave me a while ago I think I’m gonna cut those cables and solder longer strips of wire Should work, right?

better buy a box of pin and connector JST >PH2.0 so that you make them yourself
I have those, but sometimes I prefer soldering on some things anyway. But OP specified “QUICK”, and not waiting for any shipping is the quickest.

Shoutout to @SeanHacker for hooking it up! Not only is he going to send me out a CanBus cable he is also putting the cherry on top and including some female xt90 connectors as well. What a lifesaver.
