Does anyone know where I could order an MT60 extension cable ? Looking to put this on an evo with 3 link dh trucks

Doesn’t look like anyone stocks em. aliexpress has presoldered ones with 10cm wire, but better off getting connectors/wires (amazon stocks both) and solder them up.

@Zachsnotboard You can also just buy or find more wire and desolder the existing MT60 connector, trim about 1cm or so off the wires to where they no longer have solder on them, and then splice in new wire. You’d then solder the extensions back to the MT60. Works just as well and will save you a few bucks plus you still have flexible wire throughout.

Here is a nice little guide for a good inline splice:

With thicker wire you won’t get as many twists but it still works well. If you think your splice won’t hold up just try pulling it apart yourself after you soldered it for an easy strength test. Just know that if you want a bend directly on the splice you’ll want to do it while the wire is hot. Unless it is a smaller wire then that might not be an issue.

I can make you one because I’m cool like that

that would be awesome, I’ll have to measure it out. I have only soldered together an XT60 connector together once with my TS100 iron. Are the wires on the stock set up 12 gauge?
Was looking at this:

I am going to ESK8Con and want to race urethane as well, thinking 3 links with these hub motors and fresh wheels & sleeves on an EVO would be a monster. And having the weight in the front of the board would really make it better for “racing”. Wondering if industrial velcro could hold the Battery & ESC carbon plate to the board.

Not sure but I can check my set. Just let me know the length and end connectors you need (male vs female wise)

hmm okay I am going to order all the parts and then see, thank you man

Just to be clear, do you mean make them yourself or order stuff and send it to me? Because I have the wires and connectors on hand.

If you could make one please, I will DM you.

So there is a screw hole in the carbon plate, I forget if there is a screw that came with for mounting it to the deck?
If not I am thinking industrial velcro

Resurrecting this dead thread.

Has anyone swapped the 6805 bearings on their Loaded hubs? I got a used set from Loaded and one bearing looks suspect and I’d like to swap it out, but haven’t found any good info yet on the specific process.

Does anyone have the loaded pdf instruction manual? Their ZenDesk is shutdown, so most resources are gone. Could probably email them but if we could centralize info for owners here it could be helpful.

My remote bit the bullet. Scooped one and a set of purple liners while they are still around.

Some info no one knows:
Battery for the remote? It has a unique port that doesn’t fit JST 2.0
Its a 3.7V 600mAh 2.2Wh ZN921942. Idk what the ZN is but the dimensions are approximately: 40mm long, 20mm wide, 10mm tall

Motor servicing? Are bearing replacements even possible?

Replacement liners? Any one have a 3D model of the sleeve? Once I get new ones I will make one. I know the pattern of attachment to the hubs is unique so having a model is pretty important.

ESCs should functionally not go bad. But the only connection option is the backplane. Once your batteries die from cycle use, there is no interface for esc battery connection. I believe the cells in the battery are potted… not sure on replacing them.

I think I read it somewhere that someone rebuilt his unlimited packs. I was planning to rebuild two of mine as well, but it’s pretty far down the priority list.

I took apart one of my hubs to get a better look at the bearings. I couldn’t find any real info out there on the disassembly but it was pretty easy.

Remove the urethane wheel liner, use flathead screwdriver to remove “circlips”’on each side of center. Use small Philips head to carefully remove the small screws on the outside of the can. Pry open the side and it will open up and you’ll have pretty easy access to the bearings.

Outside bearing is an NSK 6805DDU and inside bearing is an NSK 6806DDU. I have some on order and will be swapping them in and reassembling.

Oooh beautiful thanks, good to have this for reference

I’m now eyeing them up to see where an encoder could go…

Just a follow up. I got my new NSK bearings in pretty quickly and finished getting them installed today. Overall process is pretty easy. Regarding the small Philips head screws on the outside of the can, you only need to remove the (4) screws that are closest to the back/inner part of the motor (side where the cable comes out). You can leave the front ones in.

Before swapping:

After. Smooth as the inside of a dolphin’s blowhole.

Freeroll for days again.

Hello,
On my side, I bought a second-hand unlimited board, but it seems that you cannot signup anymore on the rideunlimited app :frowning: It’s a shame because the board is working very well… I cannot unblock top speed because of that. I am lock to 20 kph… Does anybody can share with me his spam trap google account that served to login to the app in private message?

This worked a year ago. Hopefully works for you.
