lightweight eMTB paper build - options

Ha, not light. 85kg ish rider weight.

Streets are all flat, but I intend to find some hills to climb. Maybe I can get away with dual 6365s.

I don’t feel like I’ve really stressed the 6374s on my street board, but it does get very hot in Texas. 32-40C for 6 months out of the year.

Edit:
Looks like the consensus is that dual 6355 aren’t enough for off-road

@moon how do your 6365s do offroad?
I’m trying to decide how small/light I can go for this build - 6365s or 6374s. Hoping the full build will be <30lbs, but i’m 190.

I do fine with them. I can make it up the steepest hills with 5.5/1 gearing 170kv 12s 8" tyres. Weigh about 67kg

I would get the 6374 size than.
If you find out they are too heavy for you, it’s cheaper to switch to smaller motors :joy:
Ok it‘s the same cost the one way or the other.

I personally think it’s more likely you will want the extra torque more than some 100g extra weight will trouble you.
6374 is really a nice size for a light weight MTB.

Just stumbled on these-

They look amazing for price, discharge rating, and Ah. 184 Wh/kg is one of the higher energy densities I’ve seen, especially for the price.
