Yeah, vicious grip. That’s what I use on Mistfall and it has eaten several chunks of skin whenever I get careless. Awesome grip though. I can’t imagine going back to anything else now that I have seen the light. The only other grip that compares is a nice sharp glass frit job (I frit my boards much sharper than most others I have felt).
I got some serious scratches from regular grip tape, and even the raptor grip tape, ive felt vicious, that shit will skin you alive.
I’m fairly certain the Raptor 2’s used vicious grip, or a knockoff of it. That grip was one of only a handful of things that deck did right.
Yeah I believe it’s a knockoff. I have a patch of discolored skin on my arm from where the raptor deck scratched me.

That reminds me, I’m working on new grip. It’s basically just lava rocks epoxied to the deck. Fresh, premium lava rocks imported from Iceland, and only from around active volcanoes.
Cat repair. Thats what hes doing. Its a dangerous line of work, see bloodied arm above.
I am thinking black sand on epoxy as well.
update on the next batch of builds:
I sold the third superflux, just shipped it today, so the next batch is officially on. Decks, cells, enclosures, and stormcores have been ordered and some of it is shipping already. The drive system and trucks are being made, and wheels and bearings and bushings and other odds and ends will hit the shopping cart next.
I’m officially doing Rayne Demonseed 42s now. And i dropped them an email asking them to bring back the 44 as a few have requested 
This is very random, but i recently saw a board with a cutout logo, refilled with epoxy, with an led inside the enclosure underneath, and it was really cool. If thats something that interests you, itd surely make your demonseeds stand out.
That sounds odly familiar… did it have a handle like a sword?
Not sure offhand. The logo was a bird.
Oh nope not the one I was thinking about. The OP here did make a few of those led in resin type of projects.

This kind of stuff is ridiculously messy, time consuming, and therefore expensive, so i kind of don’t do it anymore.

Ill figure it out, and then you can outsource. Lmao. Routed elwire could accomplish a similar effect cheap and easy, depending on the design.
