no secrets really… just took two more commissions this week. One’s a flux motion and the other is an evo.
I’m also trying to get the rest of my veneer pressed into decks so i can pair them with enclosures and put wild finishes on them and sell them with adjustable base plates. Its taking me for-fucking-ever to get to it though.
Thats my goal. My current set of enclosures are basically designed for a 12S5P 18650 pack which is the most my deck can handle in a single layer. I need some for that size in 21700s but its going to take money. On big thane a 12S5P 30Q is plenty of battery for most people but not so much on pneumatics, so im hoping to get a 12S5P 40T capable enclosure and make my deck ever so slightly wider to accommodate.
this is the 18650 based deck and enclosure combo im going to start pressing the rest of my veneer for. this one is in red top layers but im probably going to press non-dyed veneer and do solid colors instead.
Yep! guy paid up. Can’t wait to see what that finish is going to look like. I was so excited about it i accidentally ordered double the parts, and will probably accidentally build two of them and keep one.
LOL no that is not the sword board. That is from that era though. mid to late 2017 i believe. Based on what i’m seeing in this enclosure its definitely around then.
THIS is the swordboard. As you can see, it is quite literally a sword.
Not only 4WD hub motors… but the infamous NGV hub drives that melted on youtube approaching 60mph. Oh what drama there was with this sword board.
This is actually @Kaly 's favorite build of mine. Ernesto could not get enough of this awesome board in vegas, so he showed up in colorado to see it again.
all obviousness aside, they are both witchblades. The swordboard was modified with a handle. The circuit patterns got popular for a while, there are multiple variations and the first or one of the first evolve mod customers asked me to do his like that too, so those patterns got around.
