I’m gonna have a lot of screaming to do at the shop tmrw…that was supposed to be a titanium rod. Changed the speed from 2 to 3.5 (goes up to 6) and whack the shaft rod just bent…now gotta finish cutting my hole by hand
If its any consolation, I bought a genuine dremel tungsten carbide milling bit for doing motor shaft key slots and after the first one it flew out of the chuck and is now somewhere in New Zealand. It cost 40 bucks.
Probably not really in New Zealand but its gone none the less.
That has happened to me once. Had overtightened the screw on top. It broke off and the tungsten blade I had bought 20 minutes earlier went poof. Found it months later when my wife asked why there was a slash in one of our walls.
I’m almost finished, just cleaning up the sugru around the hole
I cut the leads off the stock balance cables down to about 2 cm usually and then butt-splice them to the silicone 20 awg wire i typically use for balance leads. It’s way easier than crimping my own.
…well, you are monstrosity, Damon.
There is a secret board your working on, dont you?
Have something in mind you mentioned a while ago, hahahahah
Pretty curios about your future projects.
