LHB - what is he even doing now

No worries it can wait till next time. thanks though!
I ordered a Century 40 w/enclosure, a stormcore 60d. and a puck.
I will probably be sending that box back to you.
this way you can have your damn packing peanuts back. since my dog got into them and thought it was a great idea to make a huge mess. I think they were in every room in the house lol

What is the width of the motor mounts from left to right ?

This handle would anchor well where the Motor bolts screw on the motor mount plate

Please confirm I think that Amazon Handle is 10.8 inches side to side.

You don’t want to do that. It would mount to the truck bolts, definitely not the motor bolts. Also to keep squish from happening and negatively affecting handling and deck wear, I’d probably dril out the holes in the handle mounts and make spacers for the bolts, use washers on both sides, and use slightly longer bolts to accommodate it.

Please do that, sounds good. I definitely need a handle, plus my house has a few steps to the front door and dragging and managing this heavy beast is a must.

Thank you for the expertise LHB !!!

yesterday i finished up @jojosensor 's raptor which now a 2.0 / 2.1 hybrid and replaced the motor core on a subsonic build i did back in april.

today im tacking cells for bioboards. those aren’t even all the cells, another 434 are on the way. Timing is great though, just finished two customs and took two more custom commissions so i have time to do this while the parts slowly trickle in for the new commissions.

I feel like I build my own boards slow as hell. What is the build time when done by a professional usually end up being?

Total with parts delays and BS distractions and dealing with other business in between? About 4 to 6 weeks from paid invoice to shipping. Almost all of my parts come from overseas, and i do a lot of stuff in between custom builds and during them as well. Also i need a lot of mental health breaks because I work two jobs and have kids, so some of those days i’m deliberately doing nothing because i have to decompress.

Actual build time in hours is somewhere between 16 and 20 depending on what it is. I take my time on batteries, i never rush them. I’ll take a full day on one pack.

Well the KWeld has been absolutely lovely today. Perfect welds every time. I sense a bit of jealousy from my Sunstone.

Yeah that’s what I was wondering. I’m probably at 8 weeks minimum on my builds which feels painfully slow. But could be worse I suppose.

Well that’s because i sneak into your work space at night and mess with your stuff to make everything take longer than it would take me.
