This is one of those ideas that seems a bit out there, but I 100% agree. Kevin is doing a great job selling parts to distributors, it seems, why not someone in the U.S. to handle the fulfillment he’s not great with?

I ordered directly through him on the forum where he said it was all in stock. I even changed my order because certain items were out of stock. He said that everything should ship out today. We will see.
I’m brand new to this and had no idea about any of this before I ordered.
It’s just part of the risk associated with buying from small suppliers, if you get the parts I assure you they are worth it

If it was communicated to me that there is a lead time then that would be fine. He told me he would be able to get the order out the next day before I ordered, which did not happen.
I’m fine with lead times when they are communicated clearly. I have over $5k worth of items on order, that I have paid for, that have lead times >9 months. The companies that sell these products clearly communicate to the customer that these lead times exist and are expected.
They do not tell me that the items will be shipped out the next day when they have no intention of shipping it out the next day. I’ll see if it ships today, with everybody else’s order line few days. If not I can only assume that he is being wilfully deceitful.

Nobody is being deceitful. It’s a one man business. Sometimes you think you’ll have time to get parts packed and shipped and it just doesn’t happen. Just wait a few days and you’ll get your parts. Boardnamics is an honest retailer - you don’t have anything to worry about.

My completely honest thoughts…
Kevin (boardnamics) has been providing this community with good, extremely affordable, Eska8 parts for quite awhile now. I actually wonder where diy Eska8 would be without him now.
I was shocked when I first found out that Kevin was what 20, 21 years old? My oldest daughter is older than him, and he has gone this far. As far as I know, he is in college, and working another job. (Correct me if I’m wrong).
This is actually amazing to me!
I think the community will, and should give him a pass to make things right, if he proves his new ways. I only say this, because of what he has really provided this community at such an affordable price.
That said……I’ve been around the block a few times. In my younger years, I was called out a few times, and I didn’t handle them correctly because of pride, and it came back to haunt me.
In the end, acknowledge ALL mistakes and offer a plan of action to rectify. Just follow through.
I’m sure Boardnamics will continue to be successful!!!
