thanks mate. I will take a look!

i’d just use paint :stuck_out_tongue:

nice professional looking enclosure… painted bolts :man_shrugging:

to each their own

Nice evo. Get some cups for your bolts and some flat rubber gaskets under
Vibration is a killer on evos. Great looking build so far.

te letter between G and I on my keyboard is not working so I can’t write wasers

What the bioboards have?

I still have to decide on a colour (screws). But I want to spray the Evo Deck matt black.

Right now I’m waiting for my TB DD. Since more than one week there was no update at USPS tracking and from next week on I am on vacation…

Yeah man just a cup style washer anodised in the colour of your choice. Amazon. Then some skinny flat rubber washers against the enclosure underneath the cups. On thane the evo is very stiff and prone to transferring the road vibrations through the build. Once you bolt the enclosure up you make it even more solid so make sure you protect the electronics too. Check out my evolution thread as mine has been good for 8 months now. Lots and lots of miles.

The rest of the parts are finally here.
I don’t know if I should attach the battery to the deck with velcro or to the case?

I will pick up my motors tomorrow at German customs (Torqueboards DirectDrive). Also I only ordered the 5.5mm gold plugs and overlooked the 3.5mm. I will try to find a RC hobby shop in the city tomorrow and ask them if they could help me with soldering and also if they sell 3.5mm lol

Did my first ride. After 15min i can say that i don’t want to switch back to my raptor 2.1 anymore.

But I’m not done yet. I have to drill a hole for my charging port and I also need a compact battery display and I also don’t like the general wiring.

May I suggest a battery monitor that plugs into the charge port?

hmm sounds not that interesting for me. Because with the unity i can open the App and watch the Battery %. So almost the same procedure.

But no extra holes needed

I agree, I also don’t have volt meter on the board anymore. Too much sapce for few info I can get from metr and unity. Although while charging I used this one and give plenty of info https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32572133851.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.42964c4dks4wgd

The BMS needs the space on top

good idea. I think a Battery indicator is really not a big deal if you have unity/metr. Maybe i will use this free space for a metr module.

Some noise test:

On the weekend I will drill the holes for the power button and the charging socket. How can I better protect the rear opening against dirt?

I also put the battery cable under the foam and it looks cleaner now. I still need something to seal the case.

Update:
Powerswitch

thats a great idea to put the power button and charger port. Is there a 3d print file for that on thingivers?
