LACROIX Stormcore ESC and iOS app info

FedEx always sends me a fee afterwards. Even when I’ve paid import duties before they arrive.

Shiiiiit. Thought I got lucky, got my 100D and paid absolutely nothing extra…

I think moving house actually would be cheaper than paying any fees if they do come up

Is there anymore beta units I have a urgent need for a 16S dual.

That noise has nothing to do with DAVEGA. It’s simply that some VESCs have very flaky reporting of the input voltage, which is clearly a hardware problem. Which device reads/displays the voltage from the VESC is irrelevant.

For example, my FOCBOXes report much more unstable input voltage than my Unity (RIP) used to report.

Sending a new unit, no questions asked.

Yeah I didn’t mean to say the davega reads voltages badly, I mean the ordering of things shifted around so I dunno if your code is reading the right thing for voltage anymore on FW5. Sorry for the confusion

Anyways I remember seeing reports of flipsky hardware reporting super noisy/incorrect voltages some time ago so I’m not really surprised

I’ve posted before but 100% flipsky dual 6.6 sends wild voltage swings to metr. Smoothing had to be 1.6V+ to get a stable voltage. Escapes is around .3.

Solid ass customer service

Just got mine , won’t be able to test anything since I don’t have a battery pack yet. I really fuck with the case though. When will the side UART be enabled ?

And what are the size of the two mounting holes on the side ? Really glad they’re there so I can hunker it down

It crashed 40% into my ride… but it seems much better than before. Previous version it crashed 3-4 times during my ride vs this 1 time. Will keep you updated and I sent the crash report.

Thanks, I found yet another bug related to bt dis/connecting not being handled properly just earlier today. Will work on a fix later today

We’re aiming to get it in the next official release of the vesctool

M3 clearance holes, there’s also 4 m3 at the bottom on the heatsink

whe my motor is rated for 75A do you think it will handle 100A (spikes) which the stormcore can provide?

If the peaks are small enough it should be fine. Which motor is it? 75A cont. Is quite alot

its a dual setup with 2 APS 6374s (200KV, 3200W) motors rated for 80A max

Drawing 200 amps in that setup would require you to put super glue on your wheels while giving a sumowrestler team a lift. You wont get get near 100amps divided on both motors(cont.) unless you have some ridic unfavourble gearing ratio
