The order total here was $344 so I think it’s a little under that.
Oh, thanks!!
Not a battery guy but, and somebody please correct me, the ESC won’t be able to ever give a 100% unless it’s communicating with BMS over something like CAN. Without having such communication. The BMS is doing its job , the ESC is doing it’s job without ever really “talking” to each other. I think this aspect is what Boosted and (i think) Hobbywing ESC’s have over VESC at the moment. The BMS’s that have the ability to do this are still new or knot in current development. But this is just my hypothesis
I think flexi lite bms can talk via canbus to vesc
Can you show me what you’re seeing and show me your battery settings page?

What’s your charger outputting? I’ve got three and none output 50.4.
Interesting yeah, i’d check your battery with a multimeter and see if it’s really at full charge…
Yeah will do so. I know it is not unusual for charging to cut off just before the max voltage. Just being abit OCD haha
Just tried charging again and its at 99% with 50.3V … lol
I was having the same issue with my board. no matter what charger I used it would only charge to 95%
It was an easy fix thou.
I learned how to live with it. And that took care of the problem
Awww shiiiiiat
Getting my 60D today…what version of Vesc tools should i be using?
The latest
Does the latest already have the temperature caused turn-off fix?
If you dl the latest builds manually from github then it should.
Link: https://github.com/vedderb/bldc/tree/master/build_all
The vesc tool itself wasn’t updated
the units that are shipping out have the proper fw already in them
Can you post the proper FW revision you’re referring to? Mine arrived today and I want to double check.
This is probs a really nooby question but can the Stormcore be programmed just in the IOS app or just as any othe vesc with the vesc tool ?
Does anyone with a single 100s need a heatsink? Im looking to get a @surfnacho heatsink split in two so I can use a 100s for an upcoming project. @surfnacho has said in PM that only using two bolts for enclosure mounting (or drilling out an additional two via the TB6 holes if you are using a Stormcore 100s) is sufficient.
Let me know
(sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask in)
