Yeah I really should get on that. Just makes me really uncomfortable adding stuff for writing data cause what if something happens and somebody fucking dies I’d feel so guilty

Would have loved it to exist last week when I figured out my hall sensors were installed backwards and had to redo detection

I had abandoned the sensor route. 2 days later, the thought of a possible omission of inverting the sensors to follow the motors popped in my head. Rubber seals were curing and I hadn’t used stormcore app yet so I didn’t know it wasn’t yet a feature.

No I’m saying I was using ack monitor and have no fucking clue how to use vesc as it has never worked for me before.
Edit: just checked. Vesc tool app isn’t free
Edit2: ugh, bought it, it’s ugly. @sofu your app is so much nicer to look at

you could have gotten the vesc mobile app for free
https://vesc-project.com/vesc_tool - just buy the free option and you get a link to pc tool and android apk

You can probably get a refund form Playstore, but if you want to support Benjamin then is all good!

Can you not change batt amp, motor amp, and cutoff settings in the vesc app? Couldn’t find those anywhere
The app even warns me that I didn’t set cutoff values but there wasn’t a place for that during the setup

Would basically be the only reason I’d use the app. Wanna find the sweet spots on my mbs

Even though there is a free apk, a benefit of having it purchased is that you will get updates via Play Store, more convenient

We are changing enclosures on the Jaws, Naz and Lonestar. Which means we have stock of the current enclosures and decks that we won’t use. Might as well put them in hands of people who will build something nice with them

I need the to make a new cabe for my motors sensor wires they came with a different connection and I need to match the new one to the vesc
