Lacroix HyBeams on MTBs

Wuzzup folks, yesterday I soldered up my lighting solution with Lacroix HyBeams, that is nearly plug-n-play, but also involves a bit of soldering.
What do we need to do this?

List of material
  • LM2596HV

Can be found on Aliexpress, Amazon and ebay. The module has a standby current of 6 mA.

  • Lacroix HyBeams with brackets for Jaws (The brackets are for the mbs matrix II trucks)
Two M8x16 8.8 zinc plated screws for the M8 Brakeholes of the truck to mount the lights

  • LP-12 Connector from Aliexpress (only female)

  • Some hose cables 2x0.75mm² (for some waterproofing(The cabling solution depends on your board )) and cableglands and Kabelbinder :arrow_right: insider

  • Soldering iron, wire stripper, cutting pliers, some music and beer :joy:

The Lacroix lights take 7-12V, so you don’t burn em’ and also where + and - sit.

(pics and videos are added later, because they’re on my my phone and I wait for the night  )

And you can easily remove them at any given time.
