I “think” I’ve resolved the warrenty issue

I would assume only whichever part was exposed to water would turn red, but I cannot confirm that. At best, I can only translate what’s printed in chinese.

my best guess, considering the battery, the multiple translations…
thanks, @b264, @Niklas, @frame looking at the sticker and the backing…
observing how it was applied…
the “RED” on the bottom of the pix is actually the top of the pack…
I’d guess a tiny amount of liquid, water, spit was applied to make the sticker stick…
where the red was, was the only place the sticker adhered to the pack… it “almost” fell off with normal handleing…
the entire back-side of the “hapi-hapi joy-joy” battery sticker is coated in a red substance …
no visible water ingress inside heat shrink…
plus I think I only spilled cocktails on this pack twice… maybe three times… don’t hold me to it…
EDIT:
to preserve the warranty… I’m putting the sticker back on… but I’m laminating it…
trust me the sticker will see no further water ingress…
