Yeah I would be keen to see the logs for this.
I wis6h think itâs a software thing. What control mode are you using?
Current mode
You both have a metr pro right? a log with full throttle both forwards and backwards may help since we can see the PPM
and also one with the motor stalled (board against a wall with full weight on the rear so it doesnât turn into a burnout) both forwards and backwards
Do it quickly to avoid burning something if either of you donât have temp sensors
Mine is in pieces for upgrades at the moment, iâm sure @rich will be able to document it pretty well tho. Once mine is back together I can try then
thatâs how I feel with my bro deck. Need more practice to get a smoother landing done. Riding a 15ply trampa for years is a totally different world. The first rides I was just landing like a nasser sack
not the most pleasant thing for your knees soâŚ
Nice ramp you found!
May I ask what you paid Formanâs whatâs there weight?
Iâm looking for a ramp for about a year already. But not having a car and not wanting to spend 500+⏠for it makes it a bit hard.
At the end of the last year the hopper ramps have been on a good sale to make space for the new collection. Might be end of this year as well. Shipping within EU seem to be pretty ok. To Russia unfortunately not, thatâs why I didnât buy one in the end.
Unfortunately not just the normal Vesc-Tool Log so no PPM data
Hmmm not sure yet if I shall risk this with the Fsesc 4.12 ![]()

Yeah also the impact sound is loud and epic. Do you have the medium or stiff Bro? I have medium and itâs much more flexy than the MBS DWII but still quite stiff compared to Trampa. Itâs hard to ollie the Bro and the DWII.
The trucks are on the Bro, just need to install bindings and mount electronics
Going with a wood plate again, double sided tape on top and velcro on bottom, not long lasting but quick and easy.
With shipping it was 67âŹ
I think itâs about 6kg and up to 90kg rider weight.

Mabe it needs some reinforcement in the middle because itâs hollow.
But anyway I need a construction with wheels so I can tow it because I also have no car.
Good hint ![]()
So sad they do not ship to Russia
Looks indeed like it would need some reinforcement but for that money itâs not bad.
With the hopper ramp I worry a bit about there cut outs and our small wheels. Could be a bit scatchy maybe.
The ramps okp was using last year are dope, but you need two which makes it super expensive and they are anyway sold out everywhere.
I have the stiff Bro deck, but I guess Iâm also a bit more heavy than you, so should come out the same in the end

Just as a additional safety ![]()
Very old school, Iâm using velcro straps
Just finished the board
and go for a ride before itâs too dark for the video. Second chance for the Bro.
I was just too lazy to order velcro straps. I had it on hand.
In my case with lipos >
I just measured the board and it lost 0.4kg
Itâs 12.6kg (27.8lb) now with the Bro deck
Hopefully I can ride on the weekend.
Compared to the DWII deck the Bro feels promising ![]()
Did some test jumping in bmx and skate park and liked it. It seems I can achieve more air thanks to the little flex. But to ollie is still as hard as with DWII.
I did record video footage and logs but need a bit time to prepare it.
Iâve uploaded a video showing my personal problem with the Bro. I think itâs just me but I canât do tight turns with the Bro. With the Trampa or DWII deck it is no problem. This is the reason why I switched back to Holypro deck on my regular MTB.
On the Jumpinator the Bro deck feels better and I can live with less turning ability which can even be an advantage for jumpig.
I think you get more turn on trampa because it compresses in the turns when your weight acts as centrifugal force on it. And when the trampa deck is compressed, the tip angles go up. And your turns get tighter. And this doesnât happen as much with the stiffer decks.
Iâm just thinking out loud. What do you think.?
I think you are right.
trampa decks have very little twist in them some when you turn it puts more force into the trucks, where as wooden decks can twist easier so when you turn, the deck wonât put as much force into the trucks. same thing happens with hammers a fibreglass handle will send shocks into your hand where as a wooden handle will absorb some of the shocks as it flexes a little.
I do not agree with youâŚI can twist my Trampa boards to turn like race carsâŚI love woooden boards, but they do not behave the same way and they change a lot under different weather situations. like high humidity or dry wheatherâŚI trust Trampa to behave the same way alwaysâŚI remmeber my first composite snowboard from Burton, very technical ridding, where flex it is always the same, so the board put some limits, not the wheatherâŚSo composite works better for technical riding, against wooden boarsâŚothewise, F1 cars will be made of wood instead of composite fabricsâŚI would like to say, I love both materials, to use under different situationsâŚGet in touch with earth = woodâŚwinning races = compositeâŚ
Well thatâs a valid point but I can do tight turns with the ultra stiff DWII wood deck, too. ![]()
My personal issue with the deck is the width of the Bro. It is comfortable to ride but I canât transfer power to the edges because of the width. On an standard MTB deck there is an overhang of the shoes which I need. E.g. on tight backside turns I grab the edge with my toes and lean as much as I can without falling. I can feel that I put all pressure and weight exactly to the edge. On the Bro my toes are angled upward and have no overhang so it is impossible to put the pressure/weight on the edge therefore I canât do tight turns.
Iâm not sure what you mean. Trampa decks twist like a pro it could be called HolyTwist. The HolyPro is still my favourite deck for riding because itâs very flexy, comfortable and I can ollie much better compared to other decks. But there are cons as well, Trampa decks are not easy to control especially offroad at higher speed, the deck bends and twists in all directions and gets unpredictable at some point.
I was happy with my Trampa until I bought the MBS. I realized that I can ride much better and precise with the MBS. Due to the stiff deck the control is direct and very predictable. E.g. on a certain single trail I crash 8 times out of 10 with the Trampa and only 2 of 10 with MBS. Thatâs why I bought MatrixII trucks for the Trampa because I first thought thatâs the reason for better steering. Well after installing them I instantly knew the deck is the problem not the trucks. Thatâs why I bought the Bro⌠and couldnât steer.
That are some serious first world problems ![]()
