Possibly, who knows. But if you look at the amount they sold both online and through stores in different countries it kind of makes sense, as they would have had to do a few runs in order to get colors they wanted. Then there was the harfang ones they did, which Labeda have to ship to another place to get made. I assume those would have cost a mint to make, shipping from place to place to even get made costs a lot of cashola. But they did exist, seen photos of customers riding them. Maybe they realised the added cost was not worth it. From what i’ve seen online they look like they are running things better than Jed, making and delivering good stuff, refunds sent without issues. Guy down the street from me ordered some then got a refund when they said they were out of stock. I think I saw a comment in this thread about someone got getting a refund though? did you ask for one, or tell them you are cool to wait for stock?

This isn’t actually right blud. Labeda created new molds for the communal wheel. Boa still own theirs.

Thats correct, so if someone wanted to make a wheel like the Boa, they would need to find people willing to pump in loads of cash to make a mould, that mould would also need to be a different shape to the Boa’s, as you cant directly copy a design. Then spend more cash actually pumping out wheels, do marketing, customer service and so on. … or, riders can just buy from a brand that has already done the hard and costly work like Boa did. At the end of the day all we want is good wheels to buy right? so supporting people that are bringing exactly that to market is what we should be striving for. From their social media posts it looks like they have made even more improvements, putting funds back into R&D instead of flogging te dame horse. I gotta say those 80mm wheels look very thick and nice, will be very interesting to see how they compare to Caguamas

Maybe in the same way emotionally abusive partners aren’t trying to gaslight each other, jedboards just isn’t being honest with themselves about what they are capable of, and will continue to take peoples money and not deliver until they do. 
I’ll put this to the test. It’s been a while but I think they lost/deleted their customer data since BF2018 so it may be an interesting exercise.

They took all the boards back out of the boxes and removed the battery packs and gear drive housings that were totally there before.

I just noticed those aren’t caliber trucks – what trucks are they using for that gear drive? where are the axles? 
I guess it’s a clone, but the hanger is milled down for a wheel pulley (or rather wheel gear) to pop on…

These guys are wild ifthey are scammers. Are they just filming someone else’s products? Are they just willing to make everyone wait because they plan to dominate? Either the worst businessmen ever or amazing scammers
My feeling is that they ran out of money a while ago, and have just been making up excuses and showing the same parts over and over until they can get some money from the next round of Boa wheels.
I’ll put my two cents in and say Jeremy (head of Jed Boards) was referred to me for our Esk8 festival last year and never paid me for the festival by the multiple dates set. He still owes me 5k so if you’re all out there thinking he’s delivering boards you are sadly mistaken. My favorite excuse he ever used for not delivering the money was right after the Hong Kong riots broke out, he literally says “don’t worry I’m sending the money this week… hopefully the riots in the city don’t cause any issues” before never returning my messages.
Sigh does he think in this age of internet no one will remember his lying thieving ways? I can’t think what else to call it. Jeremy Bogan?
